Petroro Castle

Perfect locations to switch off for some time and relax. The remote location of the castle makes it very calm and the very nice service team is always there to support you. A highlight was definitively the wine tasting which was carried out in a small group and very informative. The room was perfectly equipped with everything needed. The only point where I still can see some room to improvement would be the restaurant. The quality of the food is good but waiting times are a bit long.

We stayed in this hotel for 9 nights. We had a small apartment split on 3 levels so for sure the rooms were very spacious. Cleanliness was always top. The staff in the hotel is extremely accommodating and very very helpful. Typical Italian breakfast is always served in the morning with a variety of cakes to choose from. We also dined in the restaurant on 4 nights and the restaurant is also 5* service. Location is very good, only 10 minutes from Todi and 40mins from Perugia airport. We look forward to return and visit this lovely Borgo again! A big fat Thank you goes to all the staff

Borgo Petroro is a worthy place to spend your holidays in a calm way. First of all, staff from the reception, swimming pool and restaurant is very friendly and proactive, also to our children. The people here offer solutions before guests even note that there is a need. The food in the morning and the evenings is excellent, served by lovely people that interact very personally. The pool is very clean, calm with a great view, and the bar offers good drinks and food. The room is very big, great beds, and the cosmetics offered are of great quality and often renewed. The hotel is also a perfect place to visit the entire area from. Don’t hesitate and trust the hotel to give you an unforgettable holiday.

This is a hidden gem. An exquisite castello with professional staff. Food and wine were excellent. All areas are spotless. Our accommodation which included a jacuzzi, sauna and three bedrooms felt very private despite the fact that there were 5 of us. Two couples and a single all had their own floor with private bathroom. Parking is free and easy. The receptionist arranged for a boxed take away breakfast on the morning we were leaving as it was an early start.. Thank you

We higly recommend stay in Borgo Petroro where had amazing time during our holidays. The staff was very professional, helpful and friendly. We have not expected such spacious room for just the two of us which also was very spacious and clean. We also recommend the restaurant where you can try delicious Umbrian cuisine with modern, surprising combinations. Our stay was perfect and we hope to come back one day. For sure we will be recommending the place to our friends!

What a beautiful place to stay! I cannot recommend this hotel enough! A definite 10 out of 10! We got married in the beautiful square at the Borgo, and the whole experience was like something from a fairy tale! The Borgo Pretoro itself is so beautiful and picturesque and is surrounded by stunning countryside. The rooms are superb; large, very clean and really comfortable. The staff ( who all speak English) are all superb - especially Andrea, Chiara and Max who all went above and beyond to make our whole wedding far more perfect than we could ever imagine- with nothing being too much trouble. The help and support they offered made the process of getting married abroad so much easier. Everyone at the Borgo made it feel like a home from home. The building, the staff, the food, the ambience and location truly make this a magical place to stay. I would not hesitate to recommend the Borgo to anyone and we cannot wait to go back to stay again.
